Threatening formation of “Janh Senha†means even Ikhwanis don’t trust New Dehli in Kashmir
Handwara 27 April: While commenting on threats to form a state
sponsored counter stone palter insurgent group “Janh Senha†by a Hindu
organisation, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has said that
the claim has yet again exposed India’s insecurity in Kashmir. While
addressing various public meetings in Kupwara today, Er. Rasheed said
that Hindu priest has not said it on his own but has the full backing
of various agencies. Er. Rasheed said “One should not forget that
former defence Minister Manohar Parikar had hinted at reviving Ikhwan
counter insurgents by saying that diamond cuts diamond. It seems that
India has now failed to higher even Ikhwanis in Kashmir and even
Ikhwanis don’t trust the false promises of New Delhi, so after being
left with no options now tribals are being prepared to replace
Ikhwanis. But when regular Army of seven lackh soldiers,
Para-military forces and other draconian measures have failed to break
will of Kashmiris, these stupid but colonial ideas are bound to failâ€.
Er. Rasheed ridiculed Mehbooba Mufti for her claim that Modi Govt.
would follow Vajpayee’s policy on Jammu & Kashmir, and said that
Kashmiris have rejected Vajpayee’s policy in Kashmir and those
praising Vajpayee are trying to mislead none but themselves. Er.
Rasheed asked Mehbooba Mufti and others who are talking much about
Vajpayee’s Kashmir policy to explain what was Vajpayee’s Kashmir
formula. Er. Rasheed said neither was Vajpayee in favour of UN
resolutions nor has he shown willingness to leave entire J&K as an
independent state. His only mission was to engage Kashmiris into
futile talks and get them tired and pitch them against each other by
creating confusions and doubts. There is nothing special in Vajpayee’s
Kashmir mission except adding to the confusion. Mehbooba Mufti while
talking much about Vajpayee’s Kashmir mission is hiding her failures.
If New Delhi is really sincere to initiate dialogue process it must
end all operations against militant outfits and declare a unilateral
seize fire before offering unconditional talks to militant leadership
who are the real custodians of huge sacrificesâ€. Er. Rasheed added
that there is no fun to indulge into formal talks whatsoever, unless
Govt. of India doesn’t reveal what it has to offer to Kashmiris.
